Picture: What Aubameyang has posted after Bournemouth game
Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been active on social media following the victory away at Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.
Aubemayang, who missed international duty with Gabon due to a fitness worry, was back in the starting line-up for the Gunners on Sunday as Alexandre Lacazette was rested.
Unai Emery was dealt the blow of losing the Frenchman to a groin injury before the game and for a while Arsenal appeared to miss him, looking wasteful in attack, but they dug deep to claim a deserved triumph.
A spectacular Jefferson Lerma own goal spoiled a decent start from the hosts, but Bournemouth brilliantly restored parity just before the break through Josh King’s stunning strike.
But Arsenal upped the ante after the half time break and they secured a 2-1 victory with Aubameyang’s eighth Premier League goal of the season.
And here was the Gunners’ match-winner Aubameyang’s message on social media after the final whistle…
