Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been active on social media ahead of the clash against CSKA Moscow in the Europa League quarter-final.

The 29-year-old moved to England from the Bundesliga during the summer of 2016 as he joined Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side.

However, after a fall-out with the Red Devils’ manager, Mkhitaryan was allowed to join Arsenal in January as Alexis Sanchez went in the opposite direction.

The former Dortmund star was left out of the Gunners’ starting line-up which faced Stoke City on Sunday.

That decision from Arsene Wenger is believed to be an attempt to help Mkhitaryan save his energy for the upcoming game in the Europa League.

Thus, the Armenian star is expected to make a start in a competition which has seen him contribute heavily to the team’s progress, all the way to the quarter–finals.

Mkhitaryan took to Twitter to make a post ahead of the clash with the Russian side…
