Arsenal defender Stephan Lichtsteiner took to social media to send out a message to everyone after the frustrating defeat away to Liverpool in the Premier League.

Heading into the trip to Anfield on Saturday, the Gunners had arguably the worst injury record out of all of the top six sides in the Premier League with a number of key players sidelined.

Arsenal’s usual injury crisis was not necessarily expected to return this season, following the departure of Arsene Wenger.

However, the Gunners are still being hit by major blows on the fitness front yet again with key defender Hector Bellerin ruled out.

The Spaniard’s absence meant Stephan Lichtsteiner was handed a start at right-back on Saturday against Liverpool as Arsenal looked to bounce back from the draw against Brighton on Wednesday evening.

Despite his efforts though, the former Juventus man had a day to forget as Arsenal were humbled at Anfield in a 5-1 defeat.

After the final whistle, Lichtsteiner still had the courage to send out a message on social media for the fans…
