Arsene Wenger’s men are wrapping up their preparations for arguably their most important game of the season so far – a clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby on Saturday.
Following the 3-1 defeat to Swansea City last Tuesday, the Gunners did well to return to winning ways a couple of days later by thrashing Everton 5-1 at the Emirates stadium.
That emphatic victory saw Wenger’s men reduce the gap between themselves and Tottenham who had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the race for the top four spots.
New signing Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang managed to score in the thumping of the Toffees last weekend and he will be looking to excite the Arsenal faithful even further by getting on the scoresheet again in the north London derby this weekend.
