The January transfer window is now behind us after 31 days of hardly any notable activity from Arsene Wenger.
The Arsenal manager decided against adding new players to his first team squad, as Cohen Bramall, who is only good enough to feature for the youth side, remained his only acquisition.
Wenger’s reward for keeping faith in his current squad will be realized come May but the 2-1 defeat to Watford at home did not send out a good signal to fans.
One area where the Gunners boss has been busy during the past month is finalising loan moves for young players who are in need of playing time.
Before the transfer window closed on Tuesday night, Arsenal successfully agreed several deals as promising strikers Chuba Akpom and Stephy Mavididi were handed temporary exits while the likes of Matt Macey and Marc Bola also said goodbye for the time being.
