The Gunners are wrapping up their preparations for the final league game of a disappointing 2016/17 campaign.

Arsene Wenger’s men are ending the season on a high note after winning four straight games against Manchester United, Southampton, Stoke City and Sunderland while conceding only one goal; a handball from Peter Crouch last Saturday.

Nonetheless, the Gunners appear to have left it too little too late for a top four finish with Liverpool having to drop points against relegated Middlesbrough for any hopes to remain alive.

Wenger’s men will have to defeat Everton regardless of what happens at Anfield and involved in Saturday’s training session was forgotten star Lucas Perez who is yet to feature since March.

The Spaniard is once again unlikely to be handed a start and we may have seen the last of him in an Arsenal shirt as he seeks a way out of the club.
