Arsenal are preparing for another busy period of fixtures which will see them face Nottingham Forest in the League Cup on Tuesday.
The Gunners took their unbeaten run to five games as an Alexis Sanchez brace and goals from Theo Walcott and Granit Xhaka secured a 4-1 victory at Hull City over the weekend.
However, a majority of the players who featured on Saturday are unlikely to play in tomorrow’s visit to Nottingham Forest.
Arsene Wenger has traditionally used the League Cup, a competition he has never won for Arsenal, to hand playing time to fringe players and youngsters.
Thus, the likes of Mathieu Debuchy and Chuba Akpom, who are yet to make an appearance this season, were largely involved in Monday’s training session held at London Colney.
