Piers Morgan gets in argument with Gary Lineker over this Arsenal player after Spurs game
Piers Morgan was engaged in a little argument with Gary Lineker on social media over one of Arsenal’s star performers on Saturday.
The Gunners managed to make up some lost ground in their pursuit of a place in the top four through a 2-0 win over their fierce rivals Tottenham.
One of the stand-out performers was Mesut Ozil who set up the opening goal for Shkodran Mustafi from a free-kick.
The former Real Madrid star was then praised by both Gary Lineker and Piers Morgan on Twitter.
However, Lineker did not like Morgan’s view of Ozil being inconsistent, sparking a mini-debate between the two on Twitter.
No, I didn't say that.
But Ozil's commitment levels in numerous games this season have not been anywhere near today's performance.
