Piers Morgan expressed his immediate anger via social media as the Gunners were sucker-punched by Jamie Vardy yet again in another frustrating 1-0 defeat on Sunday evening.

Arsenal welcomed the Foxes to the Emirates stadium on Sunday, looking to bounce back from the 1-0 loss away to Manchester City last weekend.

Mikel Arteta named a strong starting eleven as expected, with new signing Thomas Partey making his debut in the Premier League, a couple of days after featuring in the Europa League win against Rapid Viena.

The Gunners huffed and puffed in an attempt to find the breakthrough for much of the game and after failing to do so, Jamie Vardy punished Arsenal’s never-ending defensive woes late on with a header from close range to snatch all of the three points.

It was a result which signified another underwhelming start to the season for the club, having lost three of their opening six Premier League games already.

And after witnessing Vardy score yet again against the Gunners, Piers Morgan could not contain his anger…
