Piers Morgan reacts to 3-2 win with a claim about Mikel Arteta
Piers Morgan claims Mikel Arteta has made a number of vital changes to the team after watching Arsenal defeat Everton 3-2 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners took their time before making the decision to appoint Mikel Arteta as the new manager in December, after the sacking of Unai Emery.
Arsenal’s hopes of securing an unlikely place in the top four of the Premier League appear to have been revived under the management of the former Manchester City assistant boss.
The Gunners’ new winning form continued on Sunday, as they managed to tame a very stubborn Everton side to win, courtesy of a goal from Eddie Nketiah and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang’s brace.
Following the win over the Toffees, Piers Morgan took to Twitter to claim that Mikel Arteta is the man who has restored belief in the players after the turbulent start to the season which saw them flirting with the bottom half of the table.
The British TV personality has also applauded the new Arsenal boss for organising the team.
This guy’s quietly doing a very good job, too. Restoring belief in the players, organising them better & instilling some proper resilience. Keep it going @m8arteta 👍#afc pic.twitter.com/RqgBZ4yXzw
