Well-known Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan took to social media to react to the 4-1 vcitory against West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners went into Sunday’s London derby with plenty of emotion surrounding the club following Arsene Wenger’s unexpected announcement on Friday that he would finally be leaving his role as manager after nearly 22 years in charge.
While the final scoreline painted the picture of an emphatic performance by the Gunners, they were made to work for the three points, with West Ham level up until the 82nd minute of the match.
But in the end, Arsenal had too much quality in attack for David Moyes’ side to deal with ahead of the first leg of Europa League semi-final next week.
The result means Arsenal remain on course to finish sixth at least in the Premier League and after the final whistle, Piers Morgan took to Twitter to share his blunt thoughts.
