Piers Morgan reacts to 0-0 draw vs Everton with strongly-worded tweet
Piers Morgan took to social media to react to the Gunners’ draw away to Everton in the Premier League with some strong words on Saturday as the team’s faint hopes of fighting for a spot in the top four took another hit.
Arsenal made a trip to Goodison Park on Saturday as they looked to get back to winning ways after the sorry defeat at home to Manchester City at the Emirates stadium last Sunday.
The Gunners were beaten 1-0 in this fixture last season in a game which ultimately helped decide their fate in the race for a top four finish at the end of the campaign.
In a match which saw Arsenal rarely produce any goal-scoring chances, the away side’s poor run of form continued, having won just once in the last 13 games.
After the final whistle on Saturday, Piers Morgan reacted to the show at Goodison Park with some strong words for the team on social media.
This is such an insipid, uninspiring, boring Arsenal team.
Nothing to stir the soul.
Devoid of passion.
Frightened to take chances.
We can change the manager all we like – but we need better players. #efcafc
