Piers Morgan reacts to Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat to Leicester with strong tweet
Piers Morgan has taken to social media to react to the Gunners’ dreadful defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners were actually in a great position to somehow finish third and above fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur at this time last week, with five games left to play in the league.
However, an absolutely awful show at the back from the team’s defence saw Crystal Palace snatch what was a surprising 3-2 win at the Emirates stadium at the time.
Arsenal were expected by many to be given a hard game in their trip to Wolves on Wednesday and that is exactly how it turned out as they succumbed to another defeat, which saw them 3-0 down at half time.
Going into the clash with Leicester City on Sunday, there was little to no confidence amongst the fans and after watching them lose 3-0 at the King Power stadium, Piers Morgan sent out a strong message on Twitter.
I want our entire defence transfer-listed this evening.
I will drive them to other clubs for interviews or medicals.
Yes, I know it's only April & the transfer window isn't open yet.
But we can't take the risk that some of them may not be sold once it is. #afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 28, 2019
