Well-known Arsenal fan Piers Morgan took to Twitter to react to Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang’s controversial goal in the 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates stadium on Sunday.
The Gabon international was criticised by a group of Arsenal fans last weekend as he wasted a few golden opportunities to score against Newcastle.
Aubameyang responded to the criticism by scoring a double in the Europa League on Thursday night to redeem his confidence ahead of the clash with Everton at the Emirates stadium.
The Toffees proved to be a very tough nut to crack during the first half of the game as they threatened and threatened to score the opening goal.
However, it was Arsenal who opened the scoring through Alexandre Lacazette early in the second half.
And only a few minutes after that goal, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang added another strike to his tally to double Arsenal’s lead.
Replays showed the former Borussia Dortmund star was clearly offside before he placed the ball into the back of the net and here was how Piers Morgan reacted to the goal…
