Club shareholder bashes Arsenal fans after Man. City result and here’s why
Arsenal shareholder Piers Morgan hit out at certain fans after the Gunners’ fairly unexpected victory over Manchester City at Wembley.
Arsenal secured a place in the FA Cup final for the third time in the last four seasons on Sunday, courtesy of a winning goal from Alexis Sanchez in extra time.
The 2-1 win brought back some joy for much of the Arsenal faithful after having to endure a turbulent past couple of months.
However, well-known Gooner Piers Morgan used this weekend’s result as another opportuinity to emphasize why the club needs a change.
According to him, fans who are really celebrating Sunday’s cup triumph are showing a lack of ambition due to the team’s recent collapse in other competitions.
7th in the League & Arsenal fans are going nuts with joy at reaching final of a 2nd tier trophy.
Shows how far we've fallen.
Get a grip.
