Piers Morgan responded to Unai Emery’s post-match comments on Saturday with further criticism in the wake of another poor result in the Premier League.

Arsenal now have it all to do to remain in the race for a top four finish after once again settling for a draw in a home game they really should have won on Saturday afternoon.

There was a weird feeling of fear and worry around the Emirates stadium ahead of the clash against a Southampton side who have rarely won a match this season and were recently beaten 9-0 by Leicester City on their own turf.

Indeed, had it not been for a double from Alexandre Lacazette, the Gunners would have suffered an embarrassing defeat to the relegation-threatened outfit this weekend.

Unai Emery maintained his usual bemusing words after the match as Piers Morgan swiftly responded to the manager’s comments with further criticism.

‘It’s over’ now appears to be the verdict from much of the Arsenal faithful.

While Arsenal were trailing to lowly Southampton on Saturday, Morgan continued his wishful call for Emery to be replaced by Mauricio Pochettino of all people.
