Well-known Gooner Piers Morgan has hit out at the Arsenal board following the club’s latest move in the transfer market on Wednesday.
Ever since the sale of Robin van Persie to Manchester United in the summer of 2012, Arsenal have been reluctant to do business with Premier League rivals for profit.
However, with several high-profile players in the current squad yet to renew their contracts, the Gunners have accepted the risk of losing key stars to fellow big clubs.
On Wednesday, Arsenal edged closer to completing their latest sale as a fee was agreed with Liverpool over the sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
That has prompted more criticism from fans over the club’s perceived lack of ambition and adding to that on Twitter is Piers Morgan.
