Arsenal supporter Piers Morgan has once again expressed his views on the future of Arsene Wenger at the club following the team’s result in the north London derby.
The Gunners responded to the 3-1 loss at Swansea City by thumping Everton 5-1 at the Emirates stadium last Saturday to restore some confidence.
But with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur next on the fixture list, Wenger was all too aware that the pressure could be back on him in the race for a top four finish.
And that certainly proved to be the case as yet another frustrating performance from the Gunners away from home saw them suffer a defeat against the old enemy.
The 1-0 loss to Mauricio Pochettino’s side means Arsenal’s hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season have been severely damaged.
That result has ruined the mood of most fans this weekend and it comes as no surprise that Piers Morgan took to Twitter to lash out the man in charge.
Can someone look at this table and explain why Conte, who won the League 9 months ago, is the manager currently under most pressure to be sacked – and not the guy who hasn’t won it for 14yrs & is now having his worst ever season? pic.twitter.com/G5w06M00cl
