Players have been told when Wenger is leaving – Report
Emerging reports have suggested that the Arsenal dressing room has been informed about when Arsene Wenger will no longer be in charge.
The Gunners manager has come under much scrutiny this season after already being criticised for failing to win the Premier League last term.
With Bayern Munich comprehensively knocking Arsenal out of the Champions League last week while any hopes of catching league leaders Chelsea are now looking slim, the atmosphere at the Emirates stadium has become worse.
Thus, there are more calls than ever for Wenger to step down and according to Italian news outlet SNAI Sport, the Frenchman has informed his players that he is on his way out.
The report claims that the Arsenal boss has made it clear to his dressing room that he will leave by June even though the club’s hierarchy, including Stan Kroenke and Ivan Gazidis, want him to stay.
Rumours from earlier this month suggested that Wenger had been offered a new two-year contract by the club which he has not responded to yet.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri appears to be the favourite to take over as Arsenal’s next manager at the moment.
