Much of the Arsenal faithful did not hesitate to voice their opinion on Twitter after a disappointing result against Manchester City on Sunday.
Arsene Wenger’s men saw their four-game winning streak in all competitions come to an end on Thursday as Red Star Belgrade held them to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates stadium.
Many expected the Arsenal manager’s first choice team to put in a better performance on Sunday in a massive clash with title rivals Manchester City.
However, an uninspiring display at the Etihad stadium witnessed the Gunners suffer a 3-1 defeat to Pep Guardiola’s side who are now eleven points ahead.
Sunday’s affair also saw Francis Coquelin play at centre-back as Wenger picked him to fill the gap left by the absence of Per Mertesacker, Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi.
But after the frustrating defeat, it is fair to say many fans were not impressed by the performance of the much-maligned French midfielder.
