BBC journalist David Orstein has given the latest scoop on what the club’s stance is on the future of Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners boss has come under severe scrutiny in recent months after witnessing his side fall 10 points behind Chelsea in the Premier League.
Wenger’s misery continued on Wednesday evening as Bayern Munich dismantled Arsenal 5-1 in the Champions League to leave their hopes of winning that competition in tatters.
There have been more calls from fans, pundits and even ex-players for the Frenchman to bring his reign at Arsenal to an end.
However, according to BBC’s David Orstein, the club has shown its support for Wenger by offering him a new contract which he is yet to sign.
Indeed, a decision and therefore an announcement from the Arsenal manager is now scheduled to be made at the end of this season.
