Report: Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal

It took a late equalizer from Martin Skrtel to deny Arsenal a victory as the Gunners left Anfield with a point on Sunday.

Coutinho had given the hosts the lead they deserved after a sluggish first half from Arsenal but Debuchy’s first goal for the club leveled matters swiftly ahead of the break.

Fifteen minutes into the second-half, Giroud sliced home Cazorla’s cross to hand the Gunners a 2-1 advantage which they protected until the seventh minute of added time where their failures in defending corner kicks returned to haunt them.
