A new report is suggesting that Arsene Wenger’s future at Arsenal will be made clear to the public within a matter of days.
The Frenchman has faced severe scrutiny in recent months due to his team’s run of disappointing results in the Premier League and Champions League.
There were more protests calling for Wenger to step down during the 3-1 defeat at West Brom which saw Arsenal drop further behind the top four.
Despite all the animosity from fans though, the Gunners boss looks set to remain at the club and according to an exclusive claim by the Daily Star, an announcement will be made this weekend.
The report claims that Wenger will finally make an official statement on his decision to extend his contract at the Emirates stadium after the clash against Manchester City on Sunday.
With the future of star man Alexis Sanchez currently uncertain, Wenger will be charged with the task of keeping the Chilean international at Arsenal this summer if he is indeed to remain in charge of the squad.
