RMC Sport journalist reveals what Arsenal will do next for Aouar deal
RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi has revealed what the Gunners plan on doing next in their continued pursuit of Lyon star Houssem Aouar.
The unresolved uncertainty surrounding the future of Mesut Ozil has seen Arsenal continue to be linked with a host of attacking midfielders who could fill the gap left by the German star’s absence.
The Gunners appear to be firmly interested in the services of Lyon attacker Houssem Aouar, who played a key part in their impressive Champions League run last season as they reached the semi-final.
Arsenal’s bid to sign the 22-year-old has been rejected by Lyon today but according to RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, the Gunners are set to submit a new offer of €38m for Aouar but Lyon are unlikely to accept that either.
#Arsenal’s €36m bid for Houssem #Aouar has been rejected, Arsenal’s new offer of €38m, which they’ll make imminently, will also be turned down. OL want €50m. Aouar has also not agreed terms with Arsenal.
