Alexis Sanchez became Chile’s all-time top goalscorer on Thursday courtesy of a classy strike against Germany.
The 28-year-old has been dealing with an ankle problem over the past week, but he is still making the difference for his country.
After playing a big role off the bench in Chile’s 2-0 victory over Cameroon on Sunday, Sanchez followed that up with a sublime early goal against Germany today.
The Arsenal forward has now scored 38 goals in his international career, making him Chile’s all-time leading goalscorer.
