The Gunners will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to the London stadium to face West Ham on Wednesday.
Arsene Wenger’s men are currently sitting outside of the top four and a massive 17 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
That drop in the table is due to consecutive disappointing results against Manchester United at home and at Southampton last Sunday.
After watching top four rivals Chelsea defeat Huddersfield 3-1 on the road on Tuesday, the Gunners are fully aware that securing all of the three points is vital.
Wenger is expected to rotate his squad slightly due to the busy fixture list and therefore a player with the quality of Jack Wilshere has every right to be handed a start on Wednesday.
Other changes which have to be made are reverting to the four-man defense system while the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, who are yet to commit their future to the club, have to be given a break for others to get a chance to impress.
