‘Sell him in the summer’ – Twitter bashes Arsenal star after Watford display
The criticism from fans has resumed following Watford’s surprise 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.
Arsene Wenger’s men are now nine points behind league leaders Chelsea after failing to take advantage of the Blues’ draw at Anfield.
One of the changes the Arsenal manager made to his starting eleven was the decision to bring in Aaron Ramsey who was rested over the weekend.
However, the big call from Wenger was not rewarded as the Welshman limped off with a calf injury after just 20 minutes of action.
It was an early end to a performance from Ramsey which did not impress too many fans who were watching the Gunners trail 2-0 to Watford early on.
And here were the tweets…
Never thought I'd say this but the #AaronRamsey of
2013-14 is gone.
He isn't coming back#Arsenal should sell him in the summer— atul kasbekar (@atulkasbekar) February 1, 2017
Aaron Ramsey: 1 deflection for a goal, 1 lax retrieval of throw-in for another goal, 1 injury, all in 20 minutes. So, so Arsenally.

I sincerely thank @AaronRamsey for getting injured yesterday. Now there's no way Wenger can use him for few games atleast

Ramsey is the scapegoat for a poor arsenal performance, always the case, when they're awful, he gets the stick, when he's great and arsenal
