‘Sell him this summer’ – Some fans want this Arsenal player gone after Watford show
Several Arsenal fans took to social media to bash one of the players who featured in the attack against Watford on Monday night as the Gunners secured a narrow win to stay in the race to finish in the top four of the Premier League.
Arsenal went into the clash with Watford on the back of a Europa League win over Napoli but there was still some anxiety amongst the fans due to the Gunners’ awful record away from home in the Premier League this season.
Following that frustrating 1-0 defeat at Everton just over a week ago, it was interesting to see whether Unai Emery would stick with the same team which started at Goodison Park.
As it turned out, Henrikh Mkhitaryan somehow retained his place in the starting eleven despite a very poor show against the Toffees.
The Armenian star lasted 90 minutes on that day and he was kept on the pitch for the entire game again on Monday as the Gunners secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Watford.
Some fans were surely not impressed with the 30-year-old’s display though….
Please sell Mkhitaryan @Arsenal

Sell Mkhitaryan this summer. It's clear we're not getting the Dortmünd version.

Mkhitaryan shouldn’t start our next game. Very poor

Why is Henrikh Mkhitaryan still on the pitch? Unai Emery’s tactics are very questionable !!!!#WATARS

Mkhitaryan on 180-200k Aubameyang on 200k Ozil on 350k (reported salaries) all three play with that sort of couldn't give two craps sort of attitude. The one who shows up and tries every game is walking away for free. Arsenal logic.
