Another pundit has given his bold prediction for this weekend’s Premier League showdown between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsene Wenger’s men are heading into Sunday’s clash with a lot of confidence after a sublime run of form which has seen them climb all the way up to the top of the table along with Manchester City and Liverpool who defeated them on the opening day of the season.

On the other hand, Tottenham are searching for a change of fortunes after recording three straight draws in the league before slipping up to a 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen at Wembley in the Champions League.

Not everyone takes current form into account ahead of a usually unpredictable local derby, but BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson does not see it that way.

According to the former Liverpool star, the final score on Sunday could be a one-sided result.

“Arsenal already have the likes of Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey available again and, apart from that blip when they were held at home by Middlesbrough, they are in excellent form.” Lawrenson said on BBC.

“At the moment everything is going Arsenal’s way. Spurs are still unbeaten in the Premier League, but I see that run ending this weekend. My prediction is a 2-0 win for Arsenal.”
