Several Arsenal fans appear to be back on the good side of one defender after his performance in the draw against Vitoria on Wednesday.

The Gunners are under pressure to turn things around after a slow start to the season which has seen them fall well behind the likes of Chelsea and Leicester City in the race to finish in the top four of the Premier League.

Last season, one of the scapegoats for fans whenever results did not go the right way was Shkodran Mustafi, a player who does produce questionable displays every now and then.

The former Everton and Valencia star has spent a lot of time on the bench this season, due to the addition of veteran David Luiz from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

However, after Mustafi’s display in the draw away to Vitoria which saw him score what could have proven to be the match winner, several fans are loving him again.
