Sky Sports: Arsenal’s £40m transfer deal for controversial forward is now half finished
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has delivered an update regarding Arsene Wenger’s possible transfer deal for one of his key players at the club.
The Gunners succumbed to their sixth defeat in the Premier League on Sunday as Bournemouth secured a 2-1 comeback victory.
Making matters more worrying for Wenger’s side has been the uncertainty surrounding the future of Alexis Sanchez.
Various reports have claimed that the 29-year-old is now on the radar of Premier League rivals Manchester United who are set to agree a £40m deal with the Gunners to sign him.
The Red Devils are believed to be eager to land the signing of Arsenal’s want-away forward who has been deemed as a controversial figure in the dressing room.
And according to Kaveh Solhekol, United have actually agreed personal terms with the Chilean international.
Indeed, the only issue appearing to delay the transfer at the moment is Arsenal’s inability to come to an agreement with Henrikh Mkhitaryan who has been included as part of the deal.
Sky Italy, who first reported Man United were in for Sanchez, say he’s agreed terms with United. Just waiting for Mkhitaryan to agree terms with Arsenal

Sanchez was excluded from the match-day squad on Sunday as Arsenal made it three league games in a row without a win.
