Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has provided the latest update regarding the possibility of Arsenal securing the services of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang this month.
Arsene Wenger has had a fairly busy transfer window after approving the sales of Theo Walcott and Francis Coquelin to Everton and Valencia respectively while bringing in the likes of Konstantinos Maprovanos and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Following Monday’s controversial transfer deal with Manchester United, the Gunners are believed to be working on another signing at least.
Dortmund star Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been identified as the player whom Arsenal are now keen on purchasing.
And even though there have been reports about a move for the Gabonese striker suddenly collapsing, the Gunners have been handed some hope in getting the deal done.
According to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Dortmund’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, is willing to sanction the sale of Aubameyang as long as Arsenal add £10 million to their initial offer.
Much to the concern of Arsenal fans, Aubameyang was brought back into the Dortmund team on Saturday after being left out recently.
The 28-year-old featured for the entire game as his current side drew 2-2 at home to Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
