Soares shares ‘great feeling’ after return for Arsenal
Arsenal’s most recent signing Cedric Soares has taken to social media to share his excitement after managing to return to training at London Colney this week.
The Gunners appeared to be turning the tide in what had been a forgettable 2019/20 season back in February but the COVID-19 outbreak has seen the campaign placed on hold ever since.
Following several weeks of having to wait in quarantine, most players from the Arsenal squad have now been allowed to return to training this week as the Premier League begins its plans to resume the season.
One of the men in action for the Gunners at London Colney on Friday morning was Cedric Soares, who is still waiting to make his Arsenal debut.
Fitness issues have stopped the defender from seeing any playing time ever since his move to north London, on loan from Southampton.
But Soares has maintained an upbeat mood and on Friday he took to social media to express his delight over training being resumed.
It's a great feeling to be back at training. Feeling fitter every day! 💪🏻⚽🔝#arsenal #COYG #AFC #premierleague #EPL pic.twitter.com/amwaWNjxgV
