Alexis Sanchez insists the state of the Arsenal squad for the next couple of months will go on to decide whether they can win the Premier League this season or not.

The Gunners are fourth in the table, two points behind league leaders Liverpool after the relatively disappointing 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend.

Arsenal have made another bright start to the season but familiar failures during the business end of the campaign in previous years means Arsene Wenger’s side are not being tipped for glory by everyone.

Thus, key player Alexis Sanchez has called for the Arsenal manager to keep his current squad together if they are to challenge for silverware this term.

“Everything comes down to what happens from now on. All games are different and anything can happen in football.” the Chilean superstar said in an interview

“An important player might get injured – someone might leave, someone else might stay. It’s tough to keep it going, but if we stick together and keep putting the running in, I think this team can win it all.”

Following Sunday’s result, it is perhaps unclear whether Wenger will continue to use Sanchez as a centre-forward or bring back Olivier Giroud for good in his starting eleven.
