Stats update: Walcott now in first place, Ozil and Sanchez’s strange numbers
The important statistics of Arsenal’s 2016/17 season thus far have been given an update after this weekend’s Premier League affair.
Arsene Wenger’s men recorded their sixth consecutive victory in the league with a win over Swansea City who had often proven to be a stubborn opposition at the Emirates stadium.
The 3-2 triumph saw Arsenal concede a goal in the Premier League for the first time since Robert Snodgrass’ penalty-kick for Hull City last month.
However, the numbers for the attackers have continued to improve with Theo Walcott now on his own as the team’s top scorer after his first-half brace.
Mesut Ozil, who now has an impressive tally of three goals, is somehow yet to register an assist but Alexis Sanchez, the man who set up the German’s goal on Saturday, has plenty of those.
