Striker had ‘agreed’ to join Arsenal FC
Demba Ba had been yearning for a move to the Emirates stadium on transfer deadline day.
For much of Monday, the Gunners were in talks with Chelsea over a season-long loan deal for Ba, but unlike Victor Moses, who completed a loan move to Liverpool, Jose Mourinho’s side were unwilling to negotiate a deal which they believed would ‘strengthen’ Arsenal whom they consider as a major rival.
According to French journalist Matt Spiro, Demba Ba had verbally agreed to make a switch to north London which was still subject to official terms being signed by all three parties before the blues called the deal off.
But the blow of missing out on Ba could be softened by the marquee signing of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club record transfer fee.
Its a gud start for us, wit d likes of ozil, ba, viviano, abel hernandez. But one player i will love 2ci is fc-porto hit man jackson martines.. Gooners 4life.

I am one the football fans that see football as a beautiful game that should be played without bitterness. Some coaches in EPL are SICK e.g Liverpool COACH. One would have thought that Rogers will call his son to play for Liverpool fc, but he shamelessly went to seek a loon deal from a club in England.

From what I saw Flamini play on Sunday, I feel it a good addition to the squad and with the likes of Ozil, Viviano, Ba and any other person coming in, it will boost the moral and spirit of the team and all areas then has been improved on. Now I can say there is a good substitute on the bench. UP GUNNERS!!!!

What are you talking about. It’s the CDM we need to strengthen, and now Ramsey is playing there greatly and consistently, and Flamini looks like he will help boss some good tackels too. We just need depth. Giroud has been on pt. Adding extra striking force (if proven consistent) will be nice, but we needed to start at the back. All that matters is that the squad thats on the pitch plays every game with the intensity they did yesterday, and we as fans must support the boys and the general like we did yesterday, and those vibes will gain us a few pts itself. The Emirates needs to be extremely loud, and extremely positive to AFC. We are better than most thought due to week 1, but it’s going to be a hell of a fun season. #Gooner4life. #COYG! #SPUDSHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
