The Gunners will be hoping to secure a place in the last 16 of the Europa League when they face BATE Borisov in the first knock-out round of the competition on Thursday night.

Unai Emery’s men responded to the 3-1 defeat away to Manchester City by earning a hard-fought 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Saturday to maintain their hopes of finishing in the top four.

The Gunners have been very inconsistent in the league this season but as expected, they have been simply dominant in the Europa League.

Last year, Arsenal made it all the way to the semi-finals of the competition and they will be hoping to go a step further this time around.

BATE Borisov will be their next opponent, and the Gunners are very familiar with the Belarusian side whom they thrashed in this competition last season.

Below is the starting eleven which we will be expecting from Unai Emery….

Cech

Maitland-Niles – Koscielny – Mustafi – Kolasinac

Guendouzi – Torreira – Elneny

Suarez – Lacazette – Iwobi
