‘That’s his last game, Has to be sold’: Some fans think Arsenal star is leaving after 2-2 draw
Several Arsenal fans took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with one player in particular after the draw at home to Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners resumed Premier League action on Sunday afternoon after being beaten by Sheffield United on the road last Monday.
Due to the fact that Chelsea and Leicester City had won their games prior to Sunday’s game, Arsenal were very much aware that they had to secure all of the three points to avoid any more lost ground in the race to finish in the top four.
The match against Crystal Palace saw Granit Xhaka receive a start once again but he was replaced in the second half – just as he was on Monday – with the team chasing the game.
And after the incident which saw the midfielder get jeered by the crowd as he reacted with anger during his substitution, several fans suggested on Twitter that Xhaka will now end up leaving the club.
Xhaka surely can't wear the Arsenal shirt again, can he? That was his last game for Arsenal!! #AFC

Xhaka has to be sold after that … Took off the shirt and went straight down the tunnel ….

Xhaka has probably played his last game the Emirates. Childish behaviour. Although I think the fans shouldn’t be booing their captain. The manager picks him every week. #arsenal

Hopefully Xhaka gets sold in January and has a decent career elsewhere now.
You can't come back from what he did. Whether he was right or wrong (right imo), his Arsenal career's done and he'll probably be a bit relieved that it is.

Did our captain just say fuck off to fans and then took off the shirt and disappeared into the tunnel? Can this be the last time Xhaka features for us and then is sold in January?!! #ars #afc #arscry

Xhaka I can’t lie I think you have been made a scapegoat on a few occasions for the bad performances in the past and today. But this is just unacceptable and I think you’re done out ere this club just ain’t the one for you it’s best for everyone if you’re gone. pic.twitter.com/u9jpheYMv9
