Walcott could take the spot of Rosicky while Arshavin needs a rest ahead of the Barca game after complaining of a fitness concern following last week’s match.

I think he’ll start Campbell instead of Silvestre alongside Song. Arshavin instead of Eduardo. If we weren’t going for the title he might think of resting Arshavin but not with us this close.

You’re right, and that’s very interesting.
“I will pick Sol for the next game; the next game is the only important one. We fight the whole season to be in there and this is the priority.” he said.
Sol will have three days of rest and fingers crossed that we don’t end up having ‘peanut head’ to play against Messi.
If so, then Wenger should make the desperate act of bringing in Denilson for Song to play at the back or simply call up Randy Osae to partner Vermaelen there because I can’t think of silly vs messy.
Haha. Yea Silvestre against Messi is what nightmares are made of! a close 2nd is if Clichy gets booked in the first leg and we have to play Traore, with the bad positional sense, against Messi and Dani Alves at the Nou Camp!

I do like your idea of the 442 with Bendtner and Eduardo up front, I just have a feeling that if Eduardo does play he will do well despite all the hype about him returning to St. Andrews and how that will affect him
I endorse the proposed line-up,except of course for the replacement of Silvestre with Campbell.I also agree that Arshavin needs a rest in view of his expressed fitness concerns.The bench would include Walcott,Eboue,Nasri,Vela,Silvestre,Fabianski.This will not be a walk in the park,we will have to play a high intensity game and be at our sharp-shooting best.

i know this may sound a little crazy but i think wenger should consider trying traore at cb. lets face it he is going to leave otherwise cos clichy and gibbs are ahead. he is tall, fast enough to cover campbells and silvestres speed, and strong

the system of wenger agganist bermmingaham is fantastic system. 100% arsenal win the game. I wish the cup for arsenal. I love all arsenal player.
I would love to see Theo Walcott having a part in this coming match. Maybe by coming on as a substitute might gradually help him to regain some self belief and confidence. I think his confidence have suffered lately. Not to say that Birmingham can be treated lightly but rather matches like this may just help Walcott a long way to regain his form.

if not AA you play Dudu and see how he plays. If he’s scared take him off at half and insert Theo. Eboue can come in for someone at the 60 minute mark too.
