Welcome to the ‘The XI’ where you name your starting line-up of preference for an upcoming Arsenal match based on the team status from injuries to suspensions.
Team Status:
For Saturday’s league trip to Hull City, the definite absentees should be Alex Song (last game of domestic suspension), Cesc Fabregas, William Gallas, Robin van Persie, Kierran Gibbs, Johan Djourou and of course Aaron Ramsey.
Doubtful for the clash are Sol Campbell, Tomas Rosicky and Bacary Sagna.

Fingers are crossed that Campbell is passed fit to play to avoid any involvement of Silvestre.

I rather see Sagna instead of Eboue in this game. I think we need more defensive qualitys against Hull at Kc Stadium.
I think the same. But Nasri should be at midfield & Walcott at right wing. We will win it yet again in another hard fought clash
No, I disagree with the position of some players. Rearrange thus:

We need to play Diaby deeper to ensure defensive solidity; save the team from another Denilson blues; help for barely fit Campbell; to have him deal with the thuggery of Stephen Hunt and Jimmy Bullard; avoid being caught on the counter and having to chase the game; height and physicality enough to deal with a surely parked midfield that Hull will bring to the game;help Diaby continue practising and developing his already improving tackling and ball-winning skills and every other thing that Diaby adds to the team.
I prefer we first ensure we dont have to chase the game.They will be fired up and go for an early goal to keep us on the backheel.But if we can stand up to their physicality, thuggery and long balls, we’ll finish them up in the last 15 minutes of the game as they tire.
This game will be won by five key players:Vermaelen(beast in defence and proper partner for aging Campbell, Diaby(deeper role in midfield), Nasri(another Cesc-esque performance), Arshavin (unstoppable pace, guile and magic) and Walcott( pace and precision to unsettle Hull all through and continue to prove to Capello and England that he should be on that WC train.Add this to the ‘let’s-do-it-for-Aaron’ rallying call among all the players.Let’s do this!

WE HAVE TO KEEP IT TIGHT,OTHERWISE WERE DOOMED..COZ SONG AND FABREGAS R ABSENT.
It does not matter what team or formation we play, we will slap them up big time.

Id like to think we will “thrash” hull but it will be very difficult… More difficult than the porto game. Porto allowed to us to play our football, Hull will not do the same. It will be a tough battle and we will have to be at our best to see this out.

listen up guys!if u think u re goin to see another porto-like thrashing then u re kidding. hull will not allow us our free game like porto.they will not give nasri, diaby or “arsasin” the too much respect that led to porto’s downfall. hard to say but they need the points more than we do.they are goin to came out in fighting spirit and we’ve got to be ready for them. i wount be surprised if nasri is hardly noticed in d game.
