Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has given his thoughts on the performance of Alexandre Lacazette in Saturday’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsene Wenger’s men earned all the three points against their fiercest rivals courtesy of a comprehensive display which saw them lead 2-0 going into half-time.
The match saw summer signing Alexandre Lacazette return to the starting line-up for the Gunners after being surprisingly left out in the previous fixture away at Manchester City.
And the 26-year-old certainly sent out a message to his manager with a solid contribution which saw him set up the second goal of the game for Alexis Sanchez before being substituted late in the second half.
Thus, Thierry Henry has heaped praise on Lacazette for how he performed in arguably Arsenal’s most important game of the season so far.
“I liked how Lacazette played today.” the former Arsenal striker said
“He had an unselfish way of playing, not only on the ball but off the ball.”
