Thierry Henry has questioned the desire of the Arsenal players following Sunday’s clash with Manchester City.

The Gunners managed to secure a draw against Pep Guardiola’s side but it was hardly a morale-boosting result after recent defeats.

According to Henry, Arsene Wenger’s men did not come out fighting for all the three points like they should have.

“It didn’t look like they wanted to win the game,” he said

“They came back into it twice and at the end of the game they came a bit flat.

“You can understand because they’ve lost four in five but they needed to win the game.

“Both teams were upset with the result but I think Arsenal were trying to save a point.

“When you look at it, City were trying to get back in the title race and they are already in the top four.

“Arsenal are not in the top four and I felt the win would have been more vital for Arsenal than City.”
