Tony Pulis has confirmed that Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion are currently holding talks over the cancellation of Serge Gnabry’s loan deal.
The German has been restricted to just 13 minutes of Premier League action for the baggies this term, prompting concerns from Arsene Wenger who had agreed to loan out the winger for the season.
According to Pulis, Gnabry’s lack of fitness is what could see him return to Arsenal after only five months.
“I’m not going to get involved in that [confirming Gnabry’s exit] because the clubs are still talking” the West Brom manager said
“He picked up an injury before he came & was a little bit weighty, a bit heavy and took us a while to get him into that mode”
“For the kid, if you speak to him, he wants to play week in week out. It’s very difficult to guarantee someone that”
With Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere all ruled out, Serge Gnabry could be used in attack at Arsenal.
