Arsene Wenger will have two more options of players to chose from when naming the 18-man squad which faces Stoke City on Sunday.

Despite an eventful evening at Liverpool which resulted in a 3-3 draw, the Arsenal boss has confirmed there were no new injury problems from Wednesday’s game.

According to Wenger, that is not the only fitness boost for his side ahead of the trip to Stoke City with Mohamed Elneny and Alexis Sanchez now available for selection.

Arsenal have beaten the Premier League deadline for registering their Egyptian new signing for the weekend while Sanchez has finally been declared fit.

“From Liverpool we have no injuries, so that’s good news. ” Wenger said on Friday

“Elneny is available for selection, I haven’t decided yet [whether I will play him]. I have to see how everyone has recovered. Elneny is a possibility to be in the squad for Sunday.

“Alexis I would say has a 60:40 chance to be available and be back in the squad. He has two decisive days – Friday and Saturday.

“He is fit, he has worked very hard and the decision we have to take is whether to take a gamble or not on his injury.” he added
