Arsene Wenger has revealed that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla may be able to train with the Arsenal first team next week.

Cazorla has missed almost the entire second half of the season after succumbing to a knee problem during the 1-1 draw against Norwich City in November.

Oxlade-Chamberlain on the other hand, suffered a leg injury during the first leg of the Champions League clash with Barcelona last month.

The duo will not be available this weekend as the Gunners host Crystal Palace with hopes of securing automatic Champions League qualification for next season.

However, Wenger insists Cazorla could now be days away from participating in full training for the first time in several months.

“Next week they [Oxlade-Cahmberlain and Cazorla] will be back maybe, they are not back in full training yet. They are still on fitness work.
