Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has once again chosen to question the attitude of Arsenal players following their latest victory.
The Gunners continued their brilliant run of form by scoring six unanswered goals in a comfortable win over Ludogorets in the Champions League.
As usual, an Arsenal player took to social media to post a picture of the squad celebrating the result in the dressing room after the final whistle.
BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand expressed his disgust over post-match ‘selfies’ from Arsenal players a few weeks ago and he repeated the criticism on Wednesday.
“I have said it before, I wouldn’t be doing that [posting photos] until I have got my hands on a trophy,” Ferdinand said
“If that is what the boys want to do…it’s a new age.”
Ex-Manchester City star Richard Dunne, who also took part in the post-match analysis, was equally critical of Wenger’s men.
“It’s great when you win something but not a group stage in a competition.” he said.
“Arsenal have always been undone by not winning trophies.”
