Arsenal’s chances of securing the signing of another highly-rated star appears to have received a new boost from the player’s agent.
Arsene Wenger is currently without a firm option of whom to play regularly on the left-wing after shifting Alexis Sanchez from that role to the centre-forward position at the beginning of this season.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexi Iwobi have failed to cement their place in the starting line-up so far, prompting rumours about the signing of a new winger.
The man deemed as Wenger’s main transfer target to fill that role in attack is Julian Draxler, who was initially reported to have agreed a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the player’s representative has now revealed that Draxler is also considering the possibility of joining the Gunners after several years of being linked to Arsenal.
“Nothing is done, Julian is hesitating between PSG and Arsenal. For the moment, he is thinking.” the 23-year-old’s agent was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
“A decision will be made in the coming days. One thing is certain, he has played his last match for Wolfsburg.”
