Arsenal have received more positive news on the injury front ahead of Sunday’s Premier League fixture.
Arsene Wenger’s men are fighting their way back into the title race after the recent slump which sees them sitting nine points behind Chelsea.
That dip in form has been partly due to the absence of Shkodran Mustafi who picked up a hamstring problem in the 3-1 win over Stoke City.
And after almost three weeks of being sidelined, the German centre-back has now managed to return to action.
Mustafi was involved in full training with the rest of the first team squad at London Colney on Wednesday morning.
The news of the 24-year-old’s return has been reaffirmed by journalist Ben Dinnery.
Mustafi was in the stands at the Emirates stadium on Monday as Arsenal defeated West Brom 1-0 to get back to winning ways.
