Reliable BBC journalist gives update on Arsenal deal for striker
BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein has revealed the current status of Arsenal’s proposed deal for Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners are searching for a new striker to bolster the squad ahead of next season following a disappointing Premier League campaign which saw them finish in fifth place.

And following reports of a potential breakdown in the transfer negotiations between Lyon and Arsenal, David Ornstein has added some positive news.
According to the BBC journalist, who has a reliable reputation regarding transfer updates, Arsenal’s first offer was rejected by the Ligue 1 side but the two clubs are still very much in talks over a transfer deal.
