Arsenal target Wilfried Zaha has maintained a reticent attitude regarding links with the Gunners, following rumours of a possible move to the Emirates stadium.

The Ivory Coast international has been one of the best players for Crystal Palace over the past couple of years, helping them keep a place in the Premier League last term.

With the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi failing to maintain a consistent run of performances last season, Unai Emery has continued his search for a new attacker to strengthen his under-strength squad.

Thus, Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, an earner of £130,000-a-week wages, has been deemed as one of the Gunners’ main transfer targets this summer, with reports from last week – via Sky Sports – even claiming that an offer to sign him had been made.

In the midst of all the speculation, the 26-year-old has kept his cool, and while on duty with Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations, he was asked about the potential move to Arsenal.

Zaha has refused to deny that he wants to join the Gunners, adding that “we will see in the future”.
